Tenant FAQs
The questions tenants ask me most, with straight answers. If yours isn't here, just ask.
How do I request a repair?
Log it in your Ailo app. Tell me what's wrong, add a photo if you can, and I'll organise the next step and keep you updated in Ailo until it's fixed. If it's urgent, call me instead. How to log a repair.
What if the repair is urgent?
Call me straight away on 0429 493 976. After hours, call my mobile on the same number, then send me an SMS with a photo and all the details: your address, what has happened and when it started. If there is a gas leak or any danger to life, call 000 first.
Can I keep a pet?
Fill in the Pet Request form and send it to me. I'll take it to the owner and come back to you with an answer.
Can I make a small change to the property, like hanging pictures?
Use the Minor Modification Request form. Send it to me before you start any work, and I'll come back to you once the owner has considered it.
How do routine inspections work?
The first routine inspection is about 6 weeks after you move in, then every 3 months, and never more than 4 in a year (the WA limit). You'll always get written notice first. I take 360 photos to record the condition of the home, which protects you as much as the owner. More about inspections.
I'm moving out. What do I need to do?
Give written notice using Form 22: at least 21 days for a periodic tenancy, or at least 30 days before a fixed-term lease ends. Then follow my moving out guide. If anything is unclear, ask me early.
How do I apply for one of your rentals?
Find the property on realestate.com.au and apply online through Ignite, using the apply link on the listing. Please view the property before you apply.
