Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to use this website, find what they need and get in touch with me easily, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

The standard I aim for

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard recommended by the Australian Human Rights Commission.

What I have done

• Pages use clear headings and a logical structure, so they work well with screen readers.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
• Text and buttons use colour contrast that meets or exceeds the WCAG AA guidelines.
• Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have labels on every field and clear error messages.
• The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and works when you zoom in up to 200%.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the website's gentle fade-in effects are switched off.
• The short Ailo video plays silently when you scroll to it, and loops. You can pause it at any time with its controls, and it does not play automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

• The Ailo investor app video has no spoken words, so it has no captions. Its on-screen text reads "Your investment all in one place" and "The Ailo investor app", and the same information is written on the page next to it.
• Some documents, such as the tenant request forms, are PDFs. If you have trouble using a PDF, contact me and I'll provide the information another way.
• Links to other websites, such as realestate.com.au and the Ignite application platform, are outside my control and may not meet the same standard.
